In an age of minimalism, budget constrains, and boring architecture, the St Francis Xavier Cathedral in Geraldton is an asset that few cities in Australia can match. Here are a collection of images recently sent in of the Cathedral we think you'd enjoy.
Due to the way the lighting has been set up, the building is actually quite challenging to photograph while lit up. Hopefully this is something the propenents of the recent renovations can rectify in the future.

Yes, there are a lot of pictures of me sitting down haha...
Today I'm wearing some old tights I bought a long time ago and barely ever wear... But I realized that they go so well with this nude body suit! And my rose gold accessories (glasses, necklaces & wrist wear) looked amazing with these colours.
I need to get back into wearing patterned tights; they really make a statement with an otherwise "plain jane" outfit.

Several readers have mentioned they've spotted an unusual coloured seagull recently at Geraldton's beaches. We can't say we've ever seen one this colour.

"One of the boats at the boat pen sunk, something to do with the pontoon it was on. So the pontoon and vessel are being lifted out by crane."

A group of locals joined in with a nationwide effort last night to call for children who are being sent back to Nauru to be allowed to remain in Australia.
As the protests around the country unfolded, WA has added itself to the list of states offering to give a home to asylum seekers.
Even Premier Colin Barnett last night said he had a strong personal objection to children being detained.
