Western Power hosting forums
/Western Power will be attending this Saturday's Farmer's Market at Maitland Park and Sunday's Farmer's Market at Railway Station as part of a series of forums and Farmer's Markets that they are participating in over the next couple of months. The company is also hosting a a drop in style public forum on Monday February 3, from 5.30pm - 7.00pm (formal address by Western Power at 6pm) at POSH events and catering, 214 Marine Terrace.
A Western Power spokesperson said, "These events are designed to help the community understand the work we’re doing in their local area and answer any questions they may have about their electricity supply."
Their employees will be on hand to discuss a number of topics with the community including:
- Vegetation clearances
- Land access
- Preparing for significant weather events (bushfires and storms)
- Energy efficiency
- Works we are undertaking to provide you with safe, reliable and affordable electricity
