Police need public's help over attempted robbery this morning
/Geraldton Police are seeking the public's help following an attempted robbery this morning in Tarcoola Beach.

At about 4.15am this morning, Friday 31 July 2015 a male victim was at his home address on Glendinning Road, Tarcoola Beach.
Noticing the power was out, the victim had to manually open the garage door to leave to go to work. After opening the garage door the victim was getting into his car when a male approached the victim.
The victim managed to shut himself in the car but the offender opened the car door and threatened the victim with violence unless he handed over any money he had. The victim was forced to take the male into his house at which point the victim got back in his car and drove off.
The offender is described with dark skin, of aboriginal appearance with a scarf covering the majority of his face, wearing dark tracksuit pants with white stripes.
