Mandy Jolley from local program SHINE is calling for local make-up artists and Hairdressers to offer their time and services for a project happening next week.
As part of SHINE’s curriculum, they have organised professional photographers for their major assessment and now they need some make-up artists and hairdressers to help pull the project together.
“The SHINE girls have worked very hard to pull together this major assessment and we need some make-up artists and hairdressers who are willing to offer their time to help us pull it off,” Mandy said.
SHINE is a one of a kind program that was established in John Willcock College in 2010. The program was designed to address behaviour and poor school attendance of young girls through a structured program of experiential learning and hands on processes set in a purpose built hairdressing salon.
The project will take place from Monday through to Thursday next week from 8:30am to 12pm with the following themes:
Monday - Theme: Crazy hair and paint fight - Make-up artist needed
Tuesday - Theme: Alice in Wonderland - Make up artist and Hairdresser needed
Wednesday- Theme: Candyland - Make up artist and Hairdresser needed
Thursday - Theme: Outrageous - Make up artist and Hairdresser needed
If you think you can assist, please call Mandy on 0439 215 479.
