House raids uncover drugs
/At about 4.10pm on Wednesday 4 June 2014, officers from Geraldton Detectives and Volume Crime Team attended an address in Hammond Place, Spalding and executed a search warrant.
As a result of the search warrant, police will allege, a quantity of cannabis, electronic equipment and weapons were located.
A second search warrant was executed on an address in Abelia Street, Rangeway, where on arrival, police will allege, they located several person’s in the process preparing cannabis for sale.
A total of 62 cannabis foils and a further 60 grams of cannabis was seized from the address.
A 41 year old male from Spalding was charged with: 1 x Possess a Prohibited Drug 1 x Used a Prohibited Drug 1 x Possess a Controlled Weapon 1 x Sold a prohibited drug
A 43 year old female from Spalding was charged with: 1 x Used a Prohibited Drug 1 x Permit Use of Premises for use of Drug or Plant 1 x Sold a Prohibited Drug
A 39 year old male from Rangeway was charged with: 1 x Possessed Drug Paraphernalia 1 x Possessing Stolen or Unlawfully Obtained Property 1 x Permit use of Premises for Use of Drug or Plant 1 x Possession of Prohibited Drug with Intent to Sell/Supply (Cannabis)
They will face Geraldton Magistrates Court at a date yet to be determined.
A 17 year old male from Karloo was charged with 1 x Possess a Prohibited Drug and he will face Geraldton Children’s Court at a date yet to be determined.
