Locals raise $10,000 for Crawford Lodge

Local woman Chez McKeating has presented Perth's Crawford Lodge with a cheque for $10,000.

The money was raised from an event earlier this year, “Girls Night In” organised by Chez and fellow local Marilyn Heberle.

Chez thanked the Mid West for truly making a difference.

“Crawford Lodge Manager Ron asked me to thank Marilyn and Stacey Heberle and the most amazing people of the Midwest for their very generous contribution to the Cancer Council Australia and Crawford Lodge,” she said.

“These funds will go towards providing ongoing care for the patients and families who are in need of the facilities."

Crawford Lodge in Perth provides a home away from home to people throughout WA who are undergoing cancer treatment.

Many people within the Midwest have utilised Crawford Lodge's services so this serves as a very significant donation from the people in the Geraldton community.
