Selfie taken on stolen phone and uploaded to social media. Do you know this person?

Last month an iPhone was lost on Chapman Road and after many efforts to find it, the phone was never returned to it’s owner.

The family tried to call the phone and SMS pleading for its return with no response except the first time when someone answered but did not speak.

They had given up on the phone until Saturday when the phone owner went onto their Instagram account to find that a selfie had been uploaded three days earlier by a stranger who had the phone. 

The phone owner said, “We'd really appreciate any help with identifying the person in the photo as we would love to get the iPhone back as it contains sentimental footage and photos of a much loved and missed family member who has recently passed away.”
