Thousands of flowers for Valentine’s Day

Florists everywhere have increased stock and staff for their biggest day of the year tomorrow, Valentine’s Day.

Red roses seem to be the favourite but it doesn’t stop at flowers. Teddies, chocolates and balloons are also the items making it into the myriad of arrangements being made for tomorrow.

Local florist, At The Flower Pot, have been inundated with orders locally, interstate and also international.

Their stock has taken up a whole room and they have over 12 staff working today and tomorrow for the occasion.

Over 1000 red roses have been ordered in for stock as well as plenty of other varieties of flowers.
