Former Geraldton model to represent WA

Nicole Dowling is one of four WA girls who will attend the Miss Galaxy Australia national finals in April.

The 24-year-old Geraldton local made it through the state finals to be picked to travel to Gold Coast on April 12 to compete in the national pageant.

Nicole said she is beyond excited for her first national pageant.

“I feel very comfortable in this competition in the way that I wasn't nervous at all during the state finals,” she said.

“It's just a different vibe and it seems to be my comfort zone so it works well for me.”

Nicole has been modelling for about 18 months and is hoping she can stay in the industry.

“The experience has been the most memorable experience yet,” she said.

“So many opportunities have opened up and I'm able to show others that they can help others instead of sitting back.”

Nicole has been active in fundraising raising money for Make-A-Wish Australia and Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors via the Everyday Hero website.
