Geraldton MLA Ian Blayney said the Geraldton PCYC will be one of 20 PCYC centres in WA to benefit from a $125,000 Lotterywest grant announced today.
Mr Blayney said thousands of children across the State who attend local PCYC centres, such as in Geraldton, will benefit from the grant.
Mr Blayney said the State Government was proud to support organisations that offer positive programs for WA children.
He said PCYCs play an important role in delivering services to young people.
The funding will assist 20 PCYC Centres and Blue Light units to buy laptops, office supplies and sporting equipment.
Geraldton PCYC and regional centres at Kalbarri, Albany, Mornington, Roebourne, Exmouth, Collie, Bunbury, Kalgoorlie and Harvey will benefit from this latest round of Lotterywest funding.
The $125,000 grant is part of Lotterywest’s ongoing support for not-for-profit organisations in WA.
