Thinking big to help digital, creative and social ventures grow
/Geraldton people working with creative, social, and digital ventures have a rare chance to come together, learn and grow their ventures at three separate networking sessions at Pollinators CityHive on October 20.
The workshops will enable people to think outside the square and get expert guidance, and peer support to help their ventures soar.
Flock facilitator Jo Blayney said the sessions would enable to take a step back to look at the big picture and gain new ideas and insights into how they can grow or work smarter.
Tickets cost $10.
Workshops include:
9.00am – 10.30 to Social
Discuss with peers and hear from experts about what it means to run a good not-for-profit or social venture that is either high-impact or highly sustainable and what pathways and networks there are for further professional development.
11.30am- 1pm Creatives
The workshop will bring together photographers, visual artists, graphic designers and more to be inspired by creative professionals who have scaled or grown the businesses.
1.30pm – 3pm Digital
Hear firsthand what it means to run a good digital business that could EITHER scale, or be very lifestyle compatible. Specific to those working in digital industries such as IT and web design.
