Technology, sustainability and innovation the focus of Geraldton festival
/Next week Geraldton will see more than 60 professionals sharing their insights and experience with the wider community.
The Goodness Festival goodness.org.au has more than a dozen events giving local people the opportunity to get hands-on in doing, talking about and discussing sustainability, science, technology and innovation.
Some of the Festival highlights include symposiums on the future of Nature, Philanthropy, Digital Education and children's engagement with Nature, as well as tours and exhibits relating to community gardens, local biodiversity and radio astronomy. There are also opportunities for local people to pitch their best and brightest ideas at the ‘Pitch Fest’ on 21st August.
Futurists, researchers, authors and experts in innovation, technology and education are traveling from around the state to create a buzzing hub of ideas, discussion and learning. This year’s festival follows distinct themes for 2015 including Digital Creativity, Light Science, Good Fun and Social Innovation.
