Fire at Durack causes $20,000 damage

A fire yesterday at Durack Institute of Technology (DIT) has caused $20,000 worth of damage according to staff there, and will cause a minor disruptions to operations. 

Maintenance work was being carried out on an air conditioner when the fire occurred.  

DIT claim the incident was just minor, and the local fire brigade was called as part of their safety procedures.
