Arrest made following Gearing Butcher burlgary

On Feb 11 2015 we reported that Gearing Butchers was robbed. (Link)

The owners had stated a large amount of meat had been taken. 

Police had been conducting inquiries into the matter, and on Friday (20/2/15) officers from the local policing team (LPT) attended a home in Sullivan Court, Spalding where they executed a search warrant.

Police say that during the search they recovered a large amount of of the stolen meat from the freezer. 

The 40 year old male from Spalding was arrested and charged with burglary and stealing. He will face Geraldton Magistrates Court on 26 March 2015.
