A reader of Everything Geraldton shared this scam phone call he recorded. Someone claiming to be from the ATO or Australian Taxation Office calls claiming you owe them money.

You can hear them saying there is a "criminal case against your name" and to "be ready as the situation unfolds on you" if the recipient of the call fails to get back to them.
