30 cannabis plants among drugs and weapon seizure

Geraldton Detectives have seized drugs and weapons after they executed a search warrant yesterday at an address in Woodman Street, Utakarra.

Police allegedly seized the following:

  • Approximately 28 grams of Amphetamine
  • 30 Cannabis plants
  • Approximately 40 grams of Cannabis
  • Two prohibited weapons
  • A 303 Rifle Bolt Repeater Ammunition
  • A ballistic vest
  • Various drug paraphernalia 

A 26-year-old male from Utakarra will face Geraldton Magistrates Court on October 16th charged with:

  • 1 x Attempted to Possess Prohibited Drug with Intent to Sell/Supply
  • 1 x Cultivate Prohibited Drug
  • 1 x Possess Prohibited Plant
  • 1 x Possess Drug Paraphernalia
  • 1 x Possess Prohibited Drug (Cannabis)
  • 1 x Possess Prohibited Drug (LSD)
  • 1 x Possess Prohibited weapon
  • 1 x Unlawful Possession
  • 1 x Possess Unlicensed Ammunition 

A 20-year-old woman from Utakarra will also face Geraldton Magistrates Court on October 16th charged with:

  • 1 x Attempted to Possess Prohibited Drug with Intent to Sell/Supply
  • 1 x Cultivate Prohibited Drug
  • 1 x Possess Drug Paraphernalia
  • 1 x Possess Prohibited Drug (Cannabis)
  • 1 x Supplied a Prohibited Drug (Cannabis)
