Today’s working environment is no longer the traditional nine to five so flexible child care that meets modern family needs for children and educators is a must.
Bright Stars Family Day Care is expanding into a number of new suburbs in 2014 with places available now for both children and educators.
Bright Stars Family Day Care Manager, Karen McDowell, said the facility has been proudly owned and operated by the City of Greater Geraldton for 35 years.
“Imagine a small group of four children, playing and having fun with a child educator they know and trust,” said Bright Stars Manager, Karen McDowell.
“This close relationship is valued by 250 discerning families who access the Bright Stars Family Day Care service while they work, study or have some respite from care,” she said.
Family Day Care operates under a National Quality Framework to provide professional, regulated and safe small group child care from birth to pre-teen.
Care can be offered during standard hours, before and after school, during school holidays, evenings, weekends, and in some circumstances overnight.
Families can apply for the full range of child care related government subsidies.
All educators are highly trained, many hold formal qualifications ranging from Certificate III to university degrees, or they are working towards a child care qualification.
