Geraldton was treated to an absolutely amazing performance by the children from the Watoto Choir on Thursday night at Sun City Christian Centre.

Their dancing and singing was spectacular, and the performance would have been the envy of any school drama teacher.

As numbers of the children shared their story about how their parents were murdered in front of their eyes or abandoned them, it was hard to stop the tears for much of the audience.

Seeing them perform with such enthusiasm and a contagious love for life was infectious, with small children from the crowd dancing in the aisles, and the audience on their feet more than once.

The Watoto organisation runs a holistic care program in Uganda that aims to help with the overwhelming number of orphans and vulnerable women the country has.
