All Decor specialises in floor coverings and windows treatments. Rick and the team at All Decor have been selling carpet and vinyl for over 20 years, and in that time they have expanded to offer everything from wooden flooring to blinds and curtains. They even supply shutters.

In the flooring department All Decor has carpet, vinyl sheeting, vinyl planks, timber flooring and commercial carpet and vinyl.

For the younger age groups, TIU will also have another fun activity to run if interested to help cater for our Tiny Tots.

Take on the Bite’Z Wing Challenge

Do you like chicken wings? Do you want to become the ultimate Wing Slayer?

Then you need to head into Bite’Z Tavern and take part in their Wing Challenge!

The challenge is to eat the most chicken wings in one visit. The staff will judge if you have eaten enough meat off the wings to count, so don’t think you can get away with just taking one bite. Your total wings eaten will go onto the tally chart at Bite’Z and the person with the highest score will win the title of ‘Wing Slayer’ for the month. The winner will receive a Wing Slayer shirt and a free serve of chicken wings anytime they wear the shirt into Bite’Z Tavern.

The official challenge starts Friday 24th June but Jason and Jonesy from the radio station just had to have a go first. So on Thursday they sat down to the first Wing Challenge. It started off with all smiles between the two food soldiers, especially while sitting with Stuart and Kyme from the Rigters Group.

But it didn’t take long for the competitiveness to get the better of them.

Both wanting to win the title of Wing Slayer for June.

Exhibitor sites still available at the 2016 Mingenew Midwest Expo

The Mingenew Midwest Expo is the largest agricultural field day in Western Australia’s Midwest. It showcases the future of farming and agricultural technologies. The two day event plays host to some of the biggest names in the industry, providing an exciting insight into what the agricultural sector has to offer and highlights the technology of tomorrow. This year the Mingenew Midwest Expo is on Wednesday 10th August and Thursday 11th August.

Local business celebrates rebrand and restructure

New brand, better structure, that’s Geraldton’s RSM; now offering a wider, more accessible personal and friendly service.

Global accounting firm, RSM Bird Cameron, was rebranded simply RSM in October last year and since then Geraldton’s arm of the global network has been headed by Director, Trevor Lake, who is supported by Principal, Travis Bate and a highly qualified team of over 35 managers and staff. John Thomson who was formerly with RSM resigned from the partnership in November 2015. 

The new structure allows clients more accessibility to a team dedicated just to them; that will look after their interests in a confidential but friendly manner.

“We have changed the methodology for the better,” said Mr Lake.

“We have expanded our business offering and made the shift to adding more value to clients’ business, rather than just taking care of statutory obligations.”

New - and some expanded services - include bookkeeping at an affordable cost; bookkeeping packages tailored to business needs; business health checks; monthly management information; and help with completing budgets.

“Small businesses are important drivers of economic and social capacity, without small businesses towns will suffer. Business Local is a free service delivered by highly qualified advisers and in the current economic climate businesses are encouraged to take advantage of this free service.”
