Geraldton Senior College has a proud history, dating back to 1939 and looks forward to a bright future. The school caters for years 10, 11 and 12 and runs a diverse range of academic, vocational, social and service programs for over 900 students. Geraldton Senior College has over 90 staff members where 70 are teachers, while others are employed in a wide variety of curriculum and support roles.
The school environment is a reflection of the passion and enthusiasm held by each staff member. Celebrations, carnivals, festivals and competitions are an important part of the mosaic that forms the in-depth culture here at Geraldton Senior College. These would not be possible without the time and efforts volunteered by various staff members.
Students attending the college come from Geraldton and surrounding towns and farming properties. The student population represents the multicultural nature of Geraldton with many from Aboriginal or Cocos Island communities. Students from remote families are able to board at the school’s adjacent residential college which is just 2 minutes away.
Geraldton Senior College are committed and dedicated to helping their year 12 students achieve ATAR scores that will gain them access to university. This is done through our 'ATAR prediction' system where we calculate what current marks you're sitting on to turn it into an ATAR prediction. We can then gain a bit of an insight of your strengths and limitation and will work one on one to improve your overall marks. We offer free tutoring during school hours and our teachers are more than happy to lend a hand when needed.
