Allendale Primary School is a K-7 primary school with well over 400 students and is located only 5 minutes from town. Allendale Primary prides itself on four core values, those being Courtesy, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility. Through these core values, we provide our students with a stimulating and caring environment where independent and collaborative learning is developed.
The school's building has been added to since 1952 with the assistance of the P & C and the Department of Education. Some of the improvements include:
- A purpose built art-craft room
- A resource centre that is air conditioned
- A school hall built by the P & C and Community
- An air conditioned maths-computing room
- A dental therapy clinic
- Construction of an under-cover area adjacent to the canteen
- Upgrade of toilets and provision of disabled toilet
- Completion of library automation
- Computer cabling and networking of all teaching areas
